of the ROBIN is the annual adult ice hockey tournament held in Rochester, MN.
The tournament has grown from a couple of "old timers" banging the puck around
the rink to a 13 division, 68 team tournament that draws players from all around
the country and further. The tournament contains divisions with ex-pros to
novice levels including Women's, CO-ED and over 50 as well as sled hockey. It is
a a no-check no-slap shot tournament designed to be just a fun filled weekend.
There are other events during the tournament such as live concerts, indoor
tailgating, DJ, Player Party with raffle prizes, 5k run/walk, silent auction of
sport paraphernalia.

2012 ROTR SOFTBALL TEAM
This year the RTOR is
sponsoring an adult Co-Ed Softball team. The first game was played on April 30.
Pictures for the game are already in 
the photo album and some
of them are posted on
ROTR Face book.RESULTS OF THE GAME.... well, the one comment that comes to
mind...The pressure is off us to win all the games this
year!!But hey, just like the ROTR, it is about the fun, the
friends and the beer!!!!

IS NOW ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR
INVITATIONS
As some of you are PAINFULLY aware of... team
selection and ice times many times have been based on a teams past history of
entry times and payment. So ... if you are wanting your best shot at getting
into next years tournament, now is a good time to get the ball rolling. One good
thing is the price has not increased at this point as a price evaluation has not
been done with the 2013 charges for ice times and referee charges. But already
teams have started to book and pay for next year. Do not miss the boat again

This Year The ROTR 3X3 IS......
Come on out and see this exciting sport and support these athletes. The
ROTR is seeking volunteers and financial support to start a sled hockey
team in Rochester Please contact us if you have ANY interest.

sorted and edited. It will be some time before I have them all on the
website. I will announce them as I get them into the albums on the
server instead of waiting until they are all completed. I'll make my
announcements on face book and on this section of the main page. On face
book go to the RETURN OF THE ROBIN group (or use the facebook button in
the left margin) and do a LIKE to follow the announcements for all
things about the tournament.

ROBIN RUN IS BACK FOR 2012
The Return Of The Robin is excited to
announce the return of the ROBIN RUN for the 2012tournament. The Robin
Run will be a 5k run/walk with proceeds going to support local youth
sports. Last years event was a fun event and we are
expecting many more runners this year. So get your running shoes on and your registration in
early, this is going
to be a super event.
